Om̃ nārāyaṇaṃ padmabhuvaṃ vasiṣṭhaṃ śaktiṃ ca tatputra parāśaraṃ ca ।

vyāsaṃ śukaṃ gauḍapadaṃ mahāntaṃ govinda yogīndramathāsya śiṣyam ॥

taṃ toṭakaṃ vārtikakāramanyān asmad gurūnsantatamānato'smi |

śrī śaṅkarācāryamathāsya padmapādaṃ ca hastāmalakaṃ ca śiṣyam ||

सच्चिदानन्दकन्दाय जगदङ्कुरहेतवे ।

सदोदिताय पूर्णाय नमोऽनन्ताय विष्णवे ॥ १॥

saccidānandakandāya jagadaṅkurahetave ।

Sri Brahma

On Sri Vasista

raghūṇāmeṣa sarveṣāṃ prabhuḥ kulaguruḥ sadā |

sarvajñaḥ sarvasākṣī ca trikālāmaladarśanaḥ ||

Uttered by Brahmarishi Visvamitra in Yoga Vasista Ramayana 2.2.14 on Sri Vasishtar. 

For he is the master and family preceptor of the whole race of the Raghus; besides he is all knowing and all seeing; and has a clear insight (into all things) of the three times.

I offer my respectful obeisances unto the best of the sages, Parasara, who mercifully composed the gem of the Puranas (Vishnu Purana), and in that book taught the truth about the nature of matter, spirit, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, material sense-gratification, liberation, and the means of attaining liberation.

Namostu te vyaasa visaalabuddhe 

    phullaaravindaa yatapatranetra, 

Yena twayaa bhaaratatailapoornah 

    prajwaalito jnaanamayah pradeepah.

Salutations unto thee, O Vyasa, of broad intellect and with eyes large like the petals of a full-blown lotus, by whom the lamp of divine knowledge, filled with the oil of the Mahabharata, has been lighted!

On Sri Suka Brahmam

yeṣāṁ saṁsmaraṇāt puṁsāṁ

sadyaḥ śuddhyanti vai gṛhāḥ

Simply by our remembering you, our houses become instantly sanctified.

sānnidhyāt te mahā-yogin

pātakāni mahānty api

sadyo naśyanti vai puṁsāṁ

viṣṇor iva suretarāḥ

Oh great Yogin! Verily even the vilest sins of people are instantly annihilated in your presence as the enemies of gods are smashed in Sri Visnu’s presence

ataḥ pṛcchāmi saṁsiddhiṁ

yogināṁ paramaṁ gurum

puruṣasyeha yat kāryaṁ

mriyamāṇasya sarvathā

Hence I ask of you who are an eminent preceptor of Yogins, about what a man about to die, must do (which will lead to) Moksham.

By Sri Gaudapaadachaarya

प्रणवं हीश्वरं विद्यात्सर्वस्य हृदि संस्थितम् ।

सर्वव्यापिनमोंकारं मत्वा धीरो न शोचति ॥ 

praṇavaṃ hīśvaraṃ vidyātsarvasya hṛdi saṃsthitam |

sarvavyāpinamoṃkāraṃ matvā dhīro na śocati || 

Know Aum to be Īśvara, ever present in the mind of all; the man of discrimination realising Aum as all-pervading, does not grieve.

एतैरेषोऽपृथग्भावैः पृथगेवेति लक्षितः । 

एवं यो वेद तत्त्वेन कल्पयेत्सोऽविशङ्कितः ॥ ३० ॥

etaireṣo'pṛthagbhāvaiḥ pṛthageveti lakṣitaḥ | 

evaṃ yo veda tattvena kalpayetso'viśaṅkitaḥ || 

 This Ātman, though non-separate from all these, appears, as it were, separate. One who knows this truly imagines (interprets) (the meaning of the Vedas) without hesitation.

On Sri Govindabhagavatpaada 

सर्ववेदान्तसिद्धान्तगोचरं तमगोचरम् । 

गोविन्दं परमानन्दं सद्गुरुं प्रणतोऽस्म्यहम् ॥ १ ॥

sarvavedāntasiddhāntagocaraṃ tamagocaram | 

govindaṃ paramānandaṃ sadguruṃ praṇato'smyaham || 1 ||

I bow to Govinda, whose nature is Bliss Supreme, who is the Satguru, who can be known only from the import of all Vedanta, and who is beyond the reach of speech and mind.

Our Bhagavatpaada - Sri Sankara Bhagavatpaada

śrutismṛtipurāṇānāmālayaṃ karuṇālayam ।

namāmi bhagavatpādaṃ śaṅkaraṃ lokaśaṅkaram ॥ 4॥

śaṅkaraṃ śaṅkarācāryaṃ keśavaṃ bādarāyaṇam ।

sūtrabhāṣyakṛtau vande bhagavantau punaḥ punaḥ ॥ 5॥

ajnaanaantar gahanapatitaan aatmavidyoadesaih

traatum lokan bhavadavasikhaa taapa paapachyamaanaan|

muktaa maunam vatavitapinor moolato nishpatanti

sambhor murtih charati bhuvane sankaracharyaroopa|
